This lovely couple is Amy and Mike who just got engaged this weekend. Amy and Mike both came to our matchmaking service in 2010 when they were both single and looking for their life.

Both Amy and Mike told us they have wasted both time and money on dating sites with little luck. In fact when Amy came into our office she had a whole litany of bad date stories and was eager to in her words ” just go out with a nice, normal guy for a change”, Mike on the other hand, despite being handsome and successful found he had no responses from the women on dating sites except for the ones with fake pictures who were trying to run dating and romance scams on him.

In short, both were tired and fed of dating sites which is why they hired a matchmaker.

Mike, 38, is a successful investment banker who is originally from Tampa, Florida and has lived in Los Angeles for 10 years. Amy 32,  is about to graduate from medical school and plans to become a pediatrician.

After several months for each of them with our matchmaking agency they met and both stated that when they looked at each other that they KNEW! And they were right, after over 2 years of dating Mike proposed to Amy in front of her family when they were all out to dinner celebrating Amy’s birthday. Amy told us it was the happiest night of her life.
